National Hydroponics
AT THE START
In 2015, National Greenhouse was founded in Bolton by Tom and Grant with a small store, limited product lines, and a vision to become one of the leading indoor gardening specialists.
THE DIGITAL AGE
In 2017, now a team of 3, we launched our first online store. This allowed us to reach a wider audience beyond our physical store and better serve the needs of our customers.

In 2018, due to our significant growth, we expanded our operations by taking over the warehouse next door. This allowed us to increase our inventory and better serve the needs of our customers.
new showroom
By 2021, we had achieved steady growth and built a team of six, with two warehouses and the addition of a new upstairs showroom designed to showcase our products in a more professional and inspiring setting.
EXPANDING TO PRESTON
In 2024, we reached an exciting milestone with the opening of our second retail store in Preston. This new location allowed us to bring our expertise and extensive product range to a wider audience, with a fresh, modern showroom and the same customer-first approach that built our reputation. Expanding beyond Bolton marked a major step forward in our mission to support growers across the North West.
